Kate Hensley has over 20+ years’ experience in the Skincare & Cosmetic industry. An industry she is incredibly passionate about, first being inspired, in her teens to enter the industry after meeting and interviewing, Poppy King.

She’s had the privilege to lead brand’s that consumer’s love and use every single day, NIVEA, Elastoplast and Revlon.

Kate is General Manager, Marketing – Beiersdorf and is currently responsible for the NIVEA brand within the disciplines of Brand, Analytics & Insights, E-Commerce, Media and Consumer Services.

This holistic marketing approach ensures that her and the NIVEA team place the consumer’s experience at the heart of everything they do and the commercial results they deliver.

Melissa Rodrigues

With two decades of extensive industry experience working with a bevy of high-profile brands, Melissa Rodrigues is Minor Hotels’ Group Director of Brand & Marketing for Australia and New Zealand – where it currently holds a portfolio of over 60 properties under its Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites and Avani Hotels & Resorts brands.

Since joining the company in 2018, Melissa has successfully guided the brand and marketing strategy and provided thought leadership for the business. She has achieved exceptional growth in company revenue and overall brand measures, effectively led the corporate communications strategy, and demonstrated exceptional skill in negotiation and partner management at a global scale. An expert in the varying disciplines in marketing, digital and corporate communications, Melissa is a valuable mentor to her team, with a genuine approach to leadership.

Prior to this, Melissa held senior brand & marketing positions at several prominent brands, including Qantas, P&O ANZ, Telstra, Menulog and Ninemsn.

Melissa is based in Minor Hotels’ Sydney office.

Naomi Morton

Naomi is an established marketing executive with over 15 years experience across a range of industries including energy, retail and financial services. She has an impressive track record of developing and transforming brands to find success. Digitally savvy, data focussed and outcome oriented, she specialises in building and running teams across the entire value chain known for their commercial capability. Naomi has a pragmatic style and a growth mindset. Passionate and eternally optimistic, she is motivated by bringing the best out of her teams and the best out of the every businesses through driving positive cultural change to enhance productivity.

Nina Spannari

Currently the General Manager, Marketing & Customer Experience, Canon Oceania, Nina joined the company nine years ago bringing over 20 years’ experience in senior digital marketing roles. Working for both brands and agencies, she has led the strategic planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies and digital products, honing her skills in the digital arm of a top international advertising agency followed by her role in a global role for a world leading wine and spirits company, and now in consumer electronics.

Nina has extensive experience in building and managing cross-discipline teams, driving digital transformation, and gaining stakeholder buy-in at senior levels. An experienced presenter she has spoken at numerous marketing conferences and panels locally and globally.

Nina is passionate about people – their development and deriving satisfaction from the work they do. Her enthusiasm for people is matched only by her passion for driving innovation, high performance, change management, as well as sustainability and awareness, both for herself and the team she leads.

Olga Starus

Curious and energetic marketing leader with more than 15 years of international experience I am passionate about using creativity in all its fabulous forms and expressions to build brands and deliver business results.

My career spans FMCG and QSR and in my current role I get to create products and campaigns for NESCAFÉ brand, helping to keep millions of Aussies and Kiwis energised and uplifted with delicious coffee experiences.

Rachel Appleby

Rachel is currently Head of CLM – Vodafone & Sub-brands at TPG telecom.

Rachel has experience leading brand and marketing teams, working across several industries.

She currently leads a multi-disciplinary team across three brands where her and her team are focused on marrying data, insights, technology, and creativity to continuously build better, more effective experiences for customers.

Roberta Camargo

Roberta Camargo is the Head of Marketing & Communications at DHL Express Australia and has worked across various marketing roles at DHL in her 10-plus years with the global logistics company.

Since beginning her journey in Marketing & Communications more than 20 years ago, Roberta has gone onto to work at both operational and strategic levels at some of the world’s leading companies, including global supermarket chain Carrefour and film production studio New Line Cinema, as well as Australia’s hospitality powerhouse Rockpool Dining Group.

During her time at DHL, she has worked on a broad portfolio of international and Australian partnerships, including Formula 1™, Rugby World Cup, HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, Volvo Ocean Race, Surf Life Saving Australia, Manchester United, AEG, Australian Fashion Week to name a few.

Roberta has significant experience across Omni-channel marketing, content marketing and SEO, digital advertising, lead generation, branding and sponsorship, event management, media and public relations, strategic planning, revenue management, organisational design and innovation. She has strong cultural competence managing global, regional and local projects and is a dynamic leader and team motivator.

She holds a bachelor degree in Marketing and Advertising and Master of Commerce in Marketing from Macquarie University.

Ruben Ahmed

Ruben Ahmed is the Director of Marketing for HP Australia & New Zealand. Joining HP in 2017 he has been recognised as a dynamic leader and strategist and is responsible for all areas of HP’s Consumer and Commercial marketing across both PC & Printing divisions. With a passion for new and emerging technology he has had the privilege of building his career with some of the world’s most iconic technology brands including HP, Telstra, IBM and Sony.

Rushenka Perera

Rushenka Perera is Head of Marketing for SAP for Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Rushenka manages the field marketing team across all of the major solution and industry areas in ANZ.

Rushenka has been a marketer in the IT Industry for over 25 years in large, medium and startup organisations and across ANZ and Asia Pacific Japan. Her most recent previous roles were Head of Marketing for Pivotal APJ (EMC now Dell) and Marketing Director APJ for Oracle.

Sarah Potter

Experienced marketer specializing in media and digital. Sarah has experience across top global brands, international media agencies and tech sales. A data driven marketer focused on building integrated strategic and creative solutions with measurable outcomes. Enjoys keeping up with the ever-changing media landscape and how that challenges marketers and agencies to do more interesting, impactful work.
